CPACS Community Education:

English Literacy/ Civics

Our English Literacy/Civics program targets adult learners teaching them how to effectively participate in education, work and civic opportunities in the United States. Immigrants and other persons with limited English proficiency need not only master English but also understand social systems (governmental, educational, workplace, etc.) and key institutions such as banking and healthcare.

We offer English Literacy/Civics in the following three teaching methods:

  1. English-only instruction (Cobb and Fulton Counties)
  2. English/Korean bilingual instruction for those who are not comfortable with an English-only environment yet (DeKalb County)
  3. English/Vietnamese bilingual instruction for those who are not comfortable with English-only environment yet (Gwinnett County)

For more information on this program, please contact Hiro at hiro.kojima@cpacs.org or (770) 936-0969 ext. 12.
